Inspired by a passion for nature, art and science, Randi uses color, patterns, and textures to create healthy, inviting, and functional interiors for residences and professional spaces. Drawing on her more than 20 years of experience, she offers a rare combination of ingenuity, instinct and design expertise to arrive at design solutions that are functional, clever, whimsical and unexpected.
Embracing a personal and collaborative approach enables her to hone in on the intrinsic nature of each individual project. Randi carefully works within each client’s particular budget, design criteria and expectations.
Randi is
Certified Interior Designer and
NCIDQ Certified (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) in New York State since 1993.
Prior to starting her own business, Randi was the Director of Interior Design with Bogdanow Partners Architects from 1990 to 2005. As Director, she was involved in the design of most of the firm’s projects, notably IFC Film Center at the former Waverly Theater, City Hall Restaurant, Cub Room and Union Pacific. She was a mentor to many young designers. Her design contributions to the firm’s projects have appeared in numerous trade publications. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design from New York Institute of Technology and studying Lighting Design at Parsons School of Design, Randi designed commercial and residential spaces in the New York City area.
She lives with her two children on the Lower East Side and is involved in a creative, diverse, and progressive community. It is her belief that what motivates and supports any successful working relationship is the give and take of ideas and shared efforts of all involved.
